Man Steals Nearly $300 Of Purses, Handbags From UWS TJ Maxx: NYPD
A man walked into the Columbus Avenue TJ Maxx empty handed, but left with an armful of bags, police said.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A man helped himself to nearly $300 of handbags and purses from an Upper West Side store over the weekend, police said.
On Saturday, a man walked in to the T.J. Maxx on Columbus Avenue between West 97th and 100th streets at around 8 p.m., according to officials.
The man quickly made himself acquainted with the offerings of handbags and wallets and purses, according to police, and grabbed an armful of goods, police said.

He waltzed out of the store without paying, according to an NYPD Spokesperson.
The total value of the stolen goods is estimated at around $270, officials said, and the man is still at large.

Police did not have a description to share as on Monday morning.
