New Salad Spot Opens On The UWS: Special Deals This Week

You can get a salad for just $5 on Wednesday and Thursday from the new Just Salad on Columbus Avenue between West 92nd and 93rd streets.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A new salad place is opening on the Upper West Side, and you can cash in on deals this week in honor of its grand opening.

Just Salad had its soft opening at the beginning of the month at 670 Columbus Ave., between West 92nd and 93rd streets.

Its grand opening will take place with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, but before that there will be two days, Wednesday and Thursday, where people can walk in and get $5 salads.

Here's the list of the upcoming deals related to the opening.

  • $5 Meal Days: Every customer who orders in-store on Wednesday, June 14 - Thursday, June 15 from noon - 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. will receive a discounted $5 meal.
  • Ribbon Cutting: A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at the store on June 19 at 10 a.m.
  • VIP Bowl Day: Just Salad will offer $5 meals for Reusable Bowl customers who purchase meals in-store on June 21.
  • Community Workers Day: Just Salad will offer $5 meals for Community Workers who purchase meals in-store on Wednesday, June 28.

Just Salad already has one Upper West Sid location on Broadway near the corner of West 71st Street.

The chain serves up 15 chef-designed salads, wraps, warm bowls, avocado toast, soups, and smoothies.

The new Upper West Side location has a mural within designed by three students from Fashion Institute of Technology.

“This mural is a celebration of the diverse traditions that come together in harmony - right here on the Upper West Side, right here in your salad bowl," the students said in a news release.
