Thieving Trio Attacks Teens On UWS Corner, Cops Say
A trio of thieves has attacked two teens on the corner of West 63rd Street and Broadway in the early hours of two August days, police say.

UPPER WEST SIDE — Thieves are attacking teens on an Upper West Side corner in the early hours of the morning, according to cops.
The thieving trio targeted two 17-year-old boys in two different robberies on the corner of West 63rd Street and Broadway, the first on Aug. 2 about 2:45 a.m. and the second on Aug. 8 about 4:45 a.m., police said.
The first robbery saw them punch the teen, steal his wallet and flee, police said.

During the second, one of the crew whipped out a knife, only to see his victim run for it and get away, police said.
Cops also tie the trio to an Upper East Side robbery on the corner of East 59th Street and Second Avenue on Aug. 11 about 8:05 a.m., police said.

The thieves ran up behind a 65-year-old man, knocked him to the ground and stole his $300, police said.
The 65-year-old was treated by medics for cuts on his elbow and back, police said.
