Upper West Side Sports Bar Named Among 15 Best In New York City

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — An Upper West Side joint was just named among the best sports bars in New York City.

Blondies Sports at 212 W. 79th St. earned a spot on Eater NY's recent list of the "15 Bars to Cheer on Your Favorite Sports Team in NYC."

The UWS bar is particularly known for its tasty chicken wings and its commitment to showing sports games with full volume on the TV.

Here's what Eater NY had to say about it.

"Blondie's is an Upper West Side institution that is frequented by football fans rooting for Michigan State, Ohio State, Northwestern University, Penn State, and University of Oklahoma," Eater NY wrote. "The staff here is friendly, and they'll play any game requested. It’s also a top wing spot in the city."

Blondies serves up 10 wings for $18.65, 20 wings for $34.05, and 50 wings for $84.65. The bar also dishes out wafer fries, quesadillas, chicken tenders, sandwiches, soups, salads and more.

Blondies is a women-owned bar.
