Woman Sexually Assaulted While Jogging In UWS Park: NYPD
A 38-year-old woman was jogging in Riverside Park near West 89th Street, when she was attacked by a man on a bike, police said Thursday.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A woman was sexually assaulted while jogging through an Upper West Side section of Riverside Park, police said Thursday.
A 38-year-old woman was jogging on the bike path within the park near West 89th Street about 10 p.m. on Tuesday, when a man rode up to her on a bike and pushed her to the ground, police said.
He proceeded to grab her chest and buttocks, as well as expose himself, before fleeing on his bike when the woman screamed, police said.

The woman suffered minor bruises and scratches throughout her body, and was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.
NYPD described the attacker as in his 30s or 40s, around 5 feet, 6 inches, last seen wearing a red sports jersey with a number 40 on the back, while riding a dark colored bicycle.

There has been no photo released of the suspected attacker.
