Cops Seek Men in Merrick Purse Theft
The victim had her bag in a shopping cart at a Merrick store when men stole it, police said.

Nassau Police are searching for two men they believe stole a woman’s bag in a Merrick store last month.
At 6:30 p.m. on April 21, two men were caught on surveillance cameras at Home Goods, located at 1644 Merrick Road, cops said.
While in the store, the men stole a woman’s pocketbook from a shopping cart, police said. The victim had personal property and documents inside her bag when it was stolen.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the theft to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
