19-Year-Old Shot In Broad Daylight In Manhattan, Police Say

Police are still investigating the incident, and have released a surveillance photo of the suspect.

INWOOD, NY — A teen boy was shot in the right leg on Friday afternoon in Inwood, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, at 2:28 p.m. in front of an apartment building on West 204th Street between Broadway and Vermilyea Avenue, a man shot the 19-year-old in the right leg before running away.

The victim was rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals/Metropolitan in stable condition, police said.

Police are still investigating the incident, and have released a surveillance photo of the suspect.

There are no arrests yet, police said.
