4 Injured, 1 Critical In Inwood Fire: Report
The blaze broke out early Monday in an apartment building.

INWOOD, NY — Four people were injured, and one is in critical condition after a fire broke out in a fourth-floor apartment in Inwood early Monday morning, according to WABC.
The blaze started just before 7 a.m. inside a six-story building at 101 Sherman Avenue, WABC reported. Video captured by a witness showed thick smoke pouring from a window as firefighters arrived at the scene.
One resident was taken to the hospital in critical condition, and three firefighters were also treated for injuries, according to the station.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, WABC said.
