"Christmas for the Homeless" Coming to Morristown, NJ
Community Pop-Up Care Village (PUCV) provides a day of giving for the sheltered and unsheltered homeless

Christmas comes early this year for the Homeless. POWER CHANGES LIVES INC presents LavaLove® "Christmas for the Homeless" Pop-Up Care Village (PUCV).
This special event will be held at the Morristown United Methodist Church in Morristown, NJ as a soft-launch for the LavaLove® mobile trailer's ribbon-cutting ceremony planned for January 2022. The 29' custom-designed trailer will provide a 3-unit shower, sink, toilet, washing machine, dryer, barber station and resource room for ancillary services (medical, dental and vision) for the unsheltered and sheltered homeless, making its debut in Morristown, NJ (Morris County), and rapidly expanding to Newark, NJ (Essex County), New York City, NY, Paterson, NJ (Passaic County), Trenton (Mercer County), and Atlantic City (Atlantic County).
Purposed on the foundation of restoring dignity and hope in the lives of homeless individuals who have been marginalized, forgotten, and unseen, LavaLove® connects with guests through a radical hospitality approach, ensuring that the needs of guests are met through active listening and understanding.
On December 11, 2021, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, LavaLove® invites community partners, the public, and our special guests – the homeless, to attend the Pop-Up Care Village (PUCV). All homeless guests will be provided a backpack containing hygiene kits, a hot shower, clothing, a hot meal – and lots of LavaLove®. To donate items for the PUCV, visit https://lavalovenj.com to view items in need or click here. Please ship all donations directly to the Morris Plains, NJ office prior to the event or bring with you at check-in.
Community partners are invited to sponsor tables at no cost, with supplies and resources for the homeless. Please reserve your table here.
