Elderly Man Punched In The Neck In Washington Heights: Police
A 79-year-old man was punched and knocked to the ground near West 176th Street, police said.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — An elderly man was punched in the neck in Washington Heights, police said.
A 79-year-old man was inside of 4151 Broadway, between West 175th and 176th streets, about 5:20 p.m. on Sunday, when a man punched him in the left side of the throat and knocked him to the ground, police said.
The attacker then ran out of the building, police said.

The victim did not need additional medical attention, police said.
There are multiple businesses at 4151 Broadway, but a video showing the suspect appears to be within the Alexandra Nails & Hair Salon. The uptown salon did not return Patch's call for comment.

The 79-year-old was attacked a few days after police sent out information about two women attacking a 72-year-old man in June at Broadway and West 172nd Street.
