WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Flames broke out at a 14-story residential building near Washington Heights Tuesday morning, authorities said.

Authorities responded to the blaze about 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at a building on Edgecombe Avenue near W 155th Street, according to the FDNY.

Some 20 units responded to the two-alarm fire and continued fighting the flames later Tuesday morning.
