Free Health Fair Set For Washington Heights: Screenings And Consults
The Community League of the Heights is hosting a free health fair Wednesday on West 159th Street between Amsterdam and Broadway.
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — A community nonprofit will host a free health fair in Washington Heights on Wednesday.
It will be an all-day event hosted by the Community League of the Heights (CLOTH) at West 159th Street between Amsterdam and Broadway. Specifically, it will go from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Uptowners can talk to local healthcare professional and providers, while also receiving free health screenings and other services.

Along with the healthcare help, CLOTH board member Ruth Burgos of City National Bank will be giving out school backpacks at the event for the impending beginning of the academic year.
There will also be local arts performers from the Uptown Dance Academy providing entertainment throughout the day.

Yvonne Stennett, the executive director of CLOTH, will be in attendance on the day, helping to lead the event.
