Bicycle-Riding Gunman Sought In Wash Heights Shooting: NYPD

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY - Authorities are searching for an armed cyclist who reportedly shot a pedestrian twice in Washington Heights Wednesday evening.

The 38-year-old victim told police he was shot once in each leg by the bicycle-riding gunman about 6:35 p.m. in front of 655 West 160 St., police said. The victim was rushed to Harlem Hospital in stable condition.

The assailant fled on the bike westbound toward Riverside Drive, police said.

A suspect description was not available as of Monday morning. The investigation is ongoing.
