The movie, sponsored by City Council Member Carmen De La Rosa, begins at dusk. Glass bottles and booze are both no-gos.

"In The Heights" tells the story of Usnavi, a Washington Heights bodega owner who dreams of his Dominican Republic home and is madly in love with Vanessa, who works in a nearby salon.

Star Anthony Ramos opens the movie — and if you watch closely, you'll spot Miranda in the opening few minutes — with a love letter to the neighborhood.

The opening words come from Leslie Grace Martínez, who plays Nina Rosario: "Let me just listen to my block."

Heads up parents, it's rated PG-13.
