Inwood Man, 25, Dies In Queens Shooting Monday: NYPD

INWOOD, NY - An Inwood man was fatally shot in Queens Monday night, authorities said.

Joseph Valdez, 25, of Sherman Avenue in Manhattan, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in front of a Boost Mobile cell phone store in Long Island City, Queens near the 21st Street-Queensbridge F subway station about 10:03 p.m., police said.

Medics rushed the shooting victim to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.

No arrests have been announced as of Tuesday morning. The investigation remains ongoing.
