Kosher Bagel Spot Opens Near Yeshiva U. In Washington Heights

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — A new kosher bagel spot recently opened its doors near Yeshiva University in Washington Heights.

Here's what the all-kosher menu serves up when it comes to what you can put on a bagel: butter, butter & jelly, peanut butter, peanut butter & jelly, cream cheese, scallion cream cheese, olive cream cheese, jalapeno cream cheese, with egg & cheese, with egg salad, with egg omelette, with tuna, with spicy tuna, with lox, and with lox & cheese.

A plain bagel is just $2, with cream cheese going up to $3.25.

The eatery offers plain bagels, sesame, poppy, everything, cinnamon raising, whole wheat, and whole wheat everything.

The new bagel spot is in part marketed to the nearby Yeshiva University, a private Orthodox Jewish school with a large population of kosher eaters.

Since opening, Bagel Bar NYC has amassed a 4.8 out of 5 star review average on Google.

The eatery is replacing a long-shuttered barber shop at the location.

Bagel Bar NYC is open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m on Sundays, and closed on Saturdays.
