Local Inwood Hero Goes Above And Beyond For Essential Worker Kids

INWOOD, NY — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

This submission highlights Betty Sanz, a childcare worker for first responders and essential workers in Inwood.

Incredible worker who cares tremendously for children and families. She donates her own time to thoroughly clean and sanitize the school on a daily basis.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Passionate, loving teacher that cares for the children and their families as if they were her own. She has dedicated her life to the educational care of infants and toddlers and gone above and beyond to tirelessly work during the COVID crisis.
