Man Attacked Outside Inwood Club, Police Say
Six people are wanted in connection with the violent robbery.
INWOOD, NY — A man was assaulted and robbed outside of a busy Inwood club and restaurant following an argument with a large group of men, police said.
A 27-year-old man got into a verbal argument with six other men during the early morning hours of Monday, Oct. 1 outside La Casa del Mofongo & Piano Bar on West 207th and Sherman Avenue, police said. The dispute escalated when the group of men began punching and kicking the man, police said.
The group stole the man's backpack, which contained electronic devices, following the attack, police said. The man was treated for injuries at St. Barnabas hospital in the Bronx.

Police recently released photos of some of the men wanted in connection with the mugging.
