Man Critical In Wash Heights Fish Market Shooting: NYPD
A man is fighting for his life after being shot in the head during a business robbery in Washington Heights, authorities said.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY - A man is fighting for his life after being shot in the head during a fish market robbery in Washington Heights early Wednesday morning, authorities said.
Police found the 37-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the head inside the Seafood King Fish Market at 3903 Broadway just before 2 a.m., police sources told Patch.
Medics rushed the victim to Mt. Sinai Morningside Hospital in critical condition.

The suspect, whose description was not immediately made available, swiped an undisclosed amount of cash from the establishment, as well as the victim’s and cashier’s phones, sources said.
No arrests have been announced as of Wednesday morning. The investigation is ongoing.
