Man Fatally Stabbed in Washington Heights, Police Release Suspect Images

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS-INWOOD, NY — Police are searching for a suspect who fatally stabbed a man in Inwood on Sunday.

Surveillance images of the alleged suspect were released by the NYPD in connection to the incident that occurred at 141 Nagle Avenue.

Officers found 45-year-old Omar Lopez with a stab wound to his left shoulder, police said.

He was taken to Harlem Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

A motive into the stabbing has not been determined yet. An investigation remains ongoing.
