Man Attacked With Knife In Washington Heights, Police Say
A 58-year-old man was slashed across the chest with a knife, police said.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Police are looking for a suspect after a 58-year-old man was slashed with a knife in Washington Heights, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the attack happened back on June 13 just before 1 p.m., when the victim was walking near the corner of West 181st Street and Fort Washington Avenue.
The suspect approached the victim and started an argument, police said. Then, the suspect displayed a knife and slashed the victim in the chest before running away, officials said.

Medics responded and treated the victim at the scene, police said.
Police have not made any arrests yet, but an investigation is underway.

Police released a surveillance photo of a suspect, who they say was last seen wearing a gray tank top, black pants and black shoes.
