Man Shot During Robbery In Manhattan, Police Say

INWOOD, NY — A man was shot in the foot during a robbery in Inwood early Friday morning, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, the 39-year-old victim was walking on 207th Street near Post Avenue around 4:09 a.m. Friday when three men approached him and ripped off his necklace, bracelet and wallet at gunpoint.

During the robbery, one shot was fired, hitting the victim in the left foot, police said.

Then, the three robbers fled in a silver Honda Accord, and medics rushed the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition.

Police said that no arrests have been made yet, but that the investigation is underway.
