Man Shot Early Tuesday On Inwood Street: NYPD

A 31-year-old man was shot once in the back just before 6 a.m., according to police.

INWOOD, NY — A man was shot on an Inwood street early Tuesday morning, according to police officials.

At about 5:55 a.m. a 31-year-old man was shot once in the back on Thayer Street near Nagle Avenue, police said.

First responders rushed the victim to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, according to officials.

Police said that two men fled from the scene in a car, but as of Tuesday morning, officials had no other information to share about any possible suspects.
