Man Shot In The Face And Killed In Inwood: NYPD

INWOOD, NY — A local man was shot and killed in Inwood on Wednesday, police said.

Angel Cruzeta, 30, was fatally shot in the face about 1:45 a.m. outside of a building on Vermilyea Avenue near West 204th Street, police said.

He was rushed to Harlem Health and Hospitals where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The shooter escaped on a scooter, the New York Daily News reported.

There have been no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
