Man Shot In Inwood Thursday Morning: Police

A man was shot near West 207th Street and Broadway on Thursday morning, police said.

INWOOD, NY – An 18-year-old man was shot in Inwood on Thursday morning, police said, just steps from the Inwood-207th Street A train station.

The shooting happened at 597 West 207th Street near Broadway just after 9 a.m. on Thursday, police said.

The victim was hit in the right leg, according to officials. Emergency responders transported him to New York-Presbyterian / Columbia University Irving Medical Center in stable condition, authorities said.
