Massive Latin Night Market Coming To Dyckman Street In Upper Manhattan
The first-ever Latin Night Market will take place September 15 on Dyckman between Quisqueya Plaza and Inwood Hill Park.
UPPER MANHATTAN, NY — Uptowners will want to mark their calendars as the first ever Latin Night Market will take place on Dyckman Street this fall.
This first-of-its-kind event will happen on Dyckman between Quisqueya Plaza and Inwood Hill Park, featuring salsa, reggae, rumba, jazz, Latin pop, hip hop, and a selections of family-friendly activities, art installations, raffles, and food vendors.
"El Sabor Y El Ritmo - ladies and gentlemen - mi gente - we're about to make history," reads the organizer's website. "Latin Night Market in Dyckman, the first-ever large-scale food and culture festival dedicated to the Latin & Hispanic diaspora, is happening on Friday, September 15th."

The festival will take place on the first day of Hispanic Heritage Month.
The market will be run by MASC Hospitality Group, which is the same organizer that puts on the successful Bronx Night Market, Uptown Night Market, Brooklyn Night Market, and Vegan Night Market.

Organizers say that if the Latin Night Market goes well, then it could become a monthly occasion in 2024.
The market will run from 4 to 10 p.m.
You don't need a ticket to attend the market, but if you RSVP to the event you will automatically be entered into a collection of raffles.

There will also be four special guests on the night, Rep. Adriano Espaillat, Council Member Carmen De La Rosa, Borough President Mark Levine, and Assembly Member Manny De Los Santos.
The uptown market is in collaboration with the Inwood Merchant Association, the Washington Heights Business Improvement District, Mamajuana Cafe, and the Uptown Collective.
"Latin Night Market celebrates a collection of Central and South American gastronomies and beverages," the market's website reads. "The most authentic and comprehensive celebration of the fastest-growing demography in the country's flavors, art, and culture is set to break every imaginable record in the experience space."
