MTA Fastrack Repairs Begin In Upper Manhattan
A, B, C and D trains will not run overnight in Uptown Manhattan during the next three weeks.

NEW YORK, NY ā The Metropolitan Transit Authority will conduct FASTRACK overnight repair work on the Uptown Manhattan A, B, C and D trains for three weeks starting Monday, April 30, the transit authority announced Monday.
The repair work will affect train service on the Upper West Side, Harlem and in Washington Heights and Inwood on the weeks of April 30-May 4, May 14-18 and May 21-25, the MTA announced.
During these weeks B and C trains will not run overnight between the hours of 9:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day. A trains will not run between 59 St-Columbus Circle and Inwood-207 St and D trains will not run between 59 St-Columbus Circle and 161 St-Yankee Stadium during these hours, the MTA announced.

Workers will complete tasks such as replacing of track, third rail, electrical and signal components, debris removal, repairing tunnel infrastructure, painting, platform work and repairing signage, lighting fixtures and ADA components, the MTA announced.
"The unfettered track access of FASTRACK enables us to advance Subway Action Plan goals and minimize customer impact by allowing workers to do more in less time," MTA Chairman Joseph Lhota said in a statement. "We are on an urgent path to stabilizing and modernizing the subway system and intensive overnight work will help us get there."

A service will operate between Ozone Park-Lefferts Blvd or Far Rockaway and 59 St-Columbus Circle. D service will operate in two sections, between Norwood-205 St and 161 St-Yankee Stadium and between 59 St-Columbus Circle and Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue. As an alternative, customers should take the 1/2/4 trains, the Bx12 or Bx19 buses and free shuttle bus service.
Shuttle buses will follow these routes:
- Between 110 Street 1 station and 168 Street 1 station, making stops at the 110, 116, 125, 135, 145 and 155 Street D stations. This connects with the 1 at 135 Street and the 1 at 157 Street.
- Between the 168 Street 1 station and 190 Street, operating along the M4 bus route making nearby A station stops at the 181 Street and 175 Street stations.
- Between the Dyckman Street 1 station and the Dyckman Street A station.
