WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Uptown raw fish lovers rejoice! It appears that a new sushi bar is opening in Washington Heights.
A "Coming Soon" sign for the Geisha Bar & Sushi Bar recently went up on a vacant storefront at West 178th Street and Broadway.

Geisha already has a location at 3468 Broadway, just off the corner of West 142nd Street.

Its menu includes calamari, crab rangoons, steamed buns, stir-fried noodles, fried rice, and over 30 different types of sushi rolls. You can check out the complete menu here.
There isn't any reference to Geisha opening a new restaurant in Washington Heights on its website, and the eatery also did not immediately respond to phone calls.

"Geisha Sushi - serving the best Sushi & Japanese food in the New York area," reads a section on Geisha's website.
"Awesome! Their sushi is fantastic — very happy to have a location nearby," one Upper Manhattan resident said on Facebook about the possible opening.
