Here's a collection of activities for people looking to get out of the house this weekend in New York City.

NEW YORK, NY — There is a good chance of rain this weekend, but there is still plenty to do around New York City in the coming days.

This weekend's events include a Bastille Day Festival in Manhattan and surf lessons in Queens.

Chuck E. Cheese Summer Concert: Atlantic Terminal Mall, Brooklyn

In what some are calling the event of the summer, the Chuck E. Cheese Summer Concert Roadshow is taking place Saturday in Brooklyn.

The show, which organizers say is best suited for three to eight year olds, will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the Atlantic Terminal Mall.

Surf Lesson: Far Rockaway, Queens

Ever want to learn how to surf?

Surf lessons are available at Far Rockaway Beach all summer long.

The small-group lessons will include beginner surf technique, water safety training, filming to look back at footage, and more.

Bastille Day Festival: Upper East Side, Manhattan

The French Institute Alliance Françoise’s Bastille Day Celebration is back once again to bring the celebration of freedom, equality, barricades and France to the Upper East Side on Sunday.

The festival, between East 59th and 63rd streets on Madison Avenue, will feature food, music, champagne, cheese, pétanque courts, prize drawings, family activities, a special film screening and over 50 booths featuring all things France.

Disability Unite Festival: Central Park, Manhattan

Celebrate Disability Pride at the annual festival with an in-person and virtual celebration at the Central Park Naumburg Bandshell.

The festival will kick off at 11 a.m with a disability inclusion training, and then follow up with on-stage performances, and an exclusive virtual experience.

Harlem Meer Summer Festival: Central Park, Manhattan

Oscar Feldman's Latin Jazz Machine will perform at the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center on Sunday.

The show, which brings together leading jazz artists and formerly incarcerated musicians, will kick off at 2 p.m.
