NYC Weekend Events: What's On July 22-23

NEW YORK, NY — There heat is cooling off slightly and there is plenty to do in New York City in the coming days.

This weekend's events include a Drake concert and a naked body painting march.

But before you head out, make sure that the MTA isn't messing with your commute.

Saturday

"Barbenheimer": Various Locations

The much anticipated "Barbie" and "Oppenheimer" films are officially out this weekend in New York City.

The movies are already getting rave reviews, and don't forget to wear pink.

The Book of HOV: Brooklyn Public Library

The Brooklyn Public Library's new and mysterious Jay-Z exhibit is officially open.

The exhibit was curated by Roc Nation to honor the iconic rap legend from Brooklyn.

Festival of the Americas: Midtown, Manhattan

The Festival of the Americas will take place on Sixth Avenue from 42nd to 56th streets from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

There will be more than 50 food vendors and more than 300 merchandise booths.

Southeast Queens Jam Fest: Rufus King Park, Queens

The Southeast Queens Jam Fest will bring some of the community's very best talent together for a free day of live music and entertainment.

The festival runs from 3 to 8 p.m.

Sunday

Drake Concert At Madison Square Garden: Midtown, Manhattan

The wildly popular rapper will be taking his talents to Madison Square Garden for one night on Sunday.

The concert will start at 8 p.m, and 21 Savage is also slated to make an appearence.

NYC Naked Body Painting: Union Square, Manhattan

The 10th and final edition of NYC Bodypainting Day will take place in Union Square from noon to 4 p.m.

There will be a march through Greenwich Village afterward that ends with a photoshoot in Washington Square Park.
