NYPD Releases Pic Of Suspect In Shooting Of 15-Year-Old In Inwood
In a seemingly unprovoked attack, a 15-year-old was shot nine times in Inwood on Saturday. The attack has left the community shaken.

INWOOD, NY — The New York Police Department released a photo late Tuesday night of a person wanted in connection to a 15-year-old boy getting shot nine times in Inwood over the weekend.
The boy survived the shooting and is currently recovering in a hospital, but the seemingly unprovoked attack of a young person has left the Upper Manhattan community on edge.
"I am really struggling right now with the safety issue," one uptown resident wrote on a community Facebook page. "The last two — the kid getting shot for absolutely no reason — really rocked my soul."

Around 8:50 p.m. on Saturday, a man hopped out of a black Toyota Highlander being driven by another person at the corner of West 204th Street and Broadway, approached the 15-year-old in front of 650 West 204th Street and displayed a gun, police said.
Police added that he then shot the gun multiple times, striking the boy nine times throughout the body.

The 15-year-old was rushed to the hospital in stable condition and the shooter fled westbound on 204th Street.
Police released a photo Tuesday night of a man wanted in connection to the shooting.
