Inwood Stabbing Suspect IDed After Florida Man's Death: NYPD

Police believe Francisco Brito ended a heated argument outside Mamajuana Restaurant by stabbing Rudy Rivera in the chest, they announced.

INWOOD, NY — Police have named a suspect in the Inwood restaurant stabbing that left a Florida man dead, according to the NYPD.

Francisco Brito, 51, is suspected of killing Rudy Rivera, 47, during an argument outside Mamajuana Restaurant on Dyckman Street and Seaman Avenue on Aug. 4, police said.

The stabbing occurred after a wild argument which Brito ended by stabbing Rivera in the chest, said police.

Police describe Brito as standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 225 pounds.
