WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Christmas in New York City is a magical time of year, and there are few groups more associated with the holiday season than the Radio City Rockettes.

Members of the famous dance group recently did an interview with TimeOut about their favorite New York City spots, and one dancer picked two Upper Manhattan locations.

Erin Monteleone, who is in her ninth season dancing for the Rockettes, picked Buunni Coffee and Fort Tryon Park as her two favorite spots in New York City.

"Buunni is the spot for a perfect cup of Ethiopian coffee," Monteleone said in the interview about the coffee shop at 213 Pinehurst Ave. "This location is super quaint and inviting, and I know I'll leave with delicious coffee in hand thanks to their knowledgable baristas."

Monteleone was the lone Rockette of the nine interviewed to a mention a spot in Upper Manhattan.

The dancer also called Fort Tryon Park her favorite park in the city, and shouted out a specific love of the Heather Garden along Center Path within the uptown green space.

"I enjoy strolling through the Heather Garden and then looking out onto the Hudson with views of the George Washington Bridge," she said to TimeOut.
