SEE IT: Fireworks Light Up Washington Heights In Spectacular Fashion
Washington Heights resident and photographer Bjorn Bolinder captured the eye-catching local July 4th fireworks display.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — It is no secret that Washington Heights has a variety of resident organized firework shows in the neighborhood for July 4, and one local photographer was able to capture the celebration.
Bjorn Bolinder captured the light show while standing on his rooftop Tuesday night on Cabrini Boulevard near West 186th Street.
"I've been based in Washington Heights for 9 years, and I never run out of excellent photography material here," Bolinder told Patch. "People have always responded enthusiastically to images I've shared, be it these local 4th of July fireworks, sunrises and sunsets, or the nature in local parks."

"These are incredible," another person added.
A third person also noted that the photos were great, but did mention that the sound from the fireworks was overwhelming on the night.
"Pictures are great but down right scary at times, I thought a bazooka gun was going off," they said. "Over the top."
While it is unclear where exactly the photographed fireworks were being shot off from, a different video of an uptown July 4 celebration at West 156th Street is making the rounds online.
You can watch that video, which ended with NYPD clearing the uptown street, on the thesnoeman's Instagram page — HERE.
