SEE IT: Madonna Throws Down In Washington Heights With Tokischa
Pop icon Madonna filmed a music video with the up-and-coming rapper Tokischa on a Washington Heights corner, reportedly sparking complaints.
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — An ordinary uptown block got a pair of unexpected visitors Monday night: pop legend Madonna and the up-and-coming rapper Tokischa.
The two artists threw down on Labor Day on the corner of West 175th Street and Audubon Avenue, dancing to a thumping beat with a crowd gathered around them.
Madonna and Tokischa were filming a music video for an upcoming track that they are releasing together, titled "Hung Up," according to the New York Post.

Numerous videos from the scene show Madonna, wearing a bright-green sweater, and Tokischa, clad in a blue jumpsuit, dancing in the center of a large crowd in front of a corner bodega.
The 64-year-old singer and the 26-year-old Dominican rapper made headlines earlier this summer for sharing a kiss after a performance of "Hung Up" during a Pride-month performance at Terminal 5.

Not everyone uptown was happy with the nighttime dance party, however — the Post reported that police were called to the scene for noise complaints, prompting Madonna and Tokischa to resume the suit somewhere else indoors.
Indeed, two people called 311 to complain of loud music on that block of Audubon Avenue within minutes of each other around 9:38 p.m. Monday, city records show. The records say police responded and "took action to fix the condition."
