WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — You never quite know what you're going to see in Washington Heights, but Spider-Man crouching on a crosswalk sign in front of the United Palace Theater can't be near the top of anybody's list.

While it might seem unexpected, that's exactly what one driver recorded as he was traveling through the neighborhood on Monday.

Peering out his window on West 175th Street and Broadway, the driver suddenly found himself looking into the eyes of Spider-Man.

It might not be the easiest to see, but the two signs are for the George Washington Bridge and the Henry Hudson Parkway's West 181st Street exit in Washington Heights.

Spider-Man's appearance uptown during the movie confirms that the superhero has some familiarity with the neighborhood.

So, if you're strolling around Washington Heights, you might want to keep an eye out for webs flying through the air.
