Student, 15, Slashed At Wash Heights School Friday: NYPD
The teen was rushed to a nearby hospital in stable condition after the Friday morning school slash, police said.
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY - A 15-year-old boy was hospitalized Friday morning after being slashed at a Washington Heights school, authorities said.
Police were called to Washington Heights Expeditionary Learning School at 511 West 182 St. about 9:56 a.m. Friday after school officials reported the slash, police said.
Medics rushed the teen to New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center to be treated for slash wounds to his left hand, police said. He was listed in stable condition.
