Target Opens in Washington Heights: Take A Look Inside
The long-awaited Target at 602 West 181st Street soft-opened this week and will have its grand opening on Sunday.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — The long-awaited and much-discussed Upper Manhattan Target finally opened this week in Washington Heights.
The "small-format" location welcomed customers on Wednesday in its new 25,000 square-foot outpost for a soft opening at 602 West 181st Street. The store will have its grand opening on Sunday.

The Target in Washington Heights will be open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

A spokesperson for the store also said the location will have a CVS Pharmacy coming soon where residents can pick up prescriptions.
The popular retailer, the eighth-largest in the United States, took over a space at 602 West 181st Street that previously served as home to a Modell's Sporting Goods store.

The Washington Heights Target is the 11th location in Manhattan.
