WASHINGTON HEIGHTS — A teen who clocked a man on the head with a rock and knocked him into the Hudson River Wednesday afternoon has been arrested on a murder charge, according to the NYPD.

Miguel Cortez, 19, stands accused of stoning his 42-year-old victim amid a heated fight on West 158th Street and Riverside Drive about 5 p.m., police said.

Emergency responders pulled the man from the Hudson and rushed him to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital, but doctors could not save him, said police.

The Bronx teen was arrested near the coastline and charged with murder about 8 p.m., police said.
