Teen Mugged In Washington Heights Subway Station, Police Say
The 15-year-old victim was punched and kicked on the platform of the West 168th Street and Broadway subway station.
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify two young suspects wanted in connection with a mugging on a Washington Heights subway platform, police said.
A 15-year-old boy was exiting a train at the West 168th Street and Broadway subway station on Thursday, Oct. 18, when he was approached by two unknown teenagers and punched in the face, police said. Whent the victim fell to the platform floor, the two attackers continued to punch and kick him, police said.
The muggers grabbed the victim's iPhone and fled the subway station, police said. Police beleive the supects are in their late teens and released photos of the accused muggers.
