Teens Rob Deliverymen At Gunpoint In Inwood, Police Say
Three young suspects are wanted for calling in food deliveries near Inwood Hill Park in order to lure deliverymen into robberies.

INWOOD, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify three young stickup men in Inwood, police said.
The three accused robbers — all believed to be between 16 and 20 years old — allegedly called in two food deliveries near Inwood Hill Park in a scheme to rob deliverymen at gunpoint, police said. The thefts occurred in late September and October, police said.
The first robbery occurred on the night of Saturday, Sept. 29 when a deliveryman from La Lomita Mexican Deli on 10th Avenue was dropping off an order at a building on West 214th Street and Indian Road, police said. When the 19-year-old worker showed up at the building just before midnight, he was approached by the three alleged robbers.

One of the suspects threatened the deliveryman with a handgun and demanded cash and the food, police said. When the worker handed over the food order, the three robbers fled to nearby Inwood Hill Park, police said.
The second robbery occurred on the night of Sunday, Oct. 7 in front of a building on West 215th Street and Seaman Avenue, police said. The stickup men once again approached a deliveryman, threatened him with a gun and fled into Inwood Hill Park following the robbery, police said. The deliveryman handed the three suspects $400 in cash during the robbery, police said.

Police released photos of the three suspects (seen above) taken on a street-facing security camera.
