'A' Trains Running With Extensive Delays After Uptown Fire: MTA
A fire within the 175th Street station means "extensive delays" in both direction on Monday morning, the MTA said.
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — There are major delays on the A train after a fire broke out Monday morning in a Washington Heights station, the MTA said.
The train line is running with "extensive delays in both directions" as of 9 a.m. after FDNY extinguished flames at the 175th Street station, the MTA said.
Initially, A trains were not running at all between Inwood-207th Street and 168th Street, the MTA said.
