Wash Heights Fish Market Shooting Suspect Nabbed: NYPD
The Harlem man was charged in connection with the robbery and shooting that left one bystander fighting for his life last week, police said.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY - A Harlem man was charged Saturday in connection with a late-night fish market robbery and shooting that left one bystander fighting for his life last week, authorities said.
Heiton Camacho Bonilla, 37, was charged shortly before 10 a.m. with attempted murder, robbery, assault and related charges, police said.
Camacho Bonilla reportedly walked into the Seafood King Fish Market at 3903 Broadway just before 2 a.m. on Dec. 6, showed a firearm and demanded cell phones from a store employee and a customer, police said.

The gunman also demanded cash from the register of the fish market.
While leaving the location, the gunman fired a shot, which struck a 37-year-old victim in the head, police said.

Medics rushed the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Metropolitan where he was listed in critical condition.
Camacho Bonilla was arraigned Sunday morning, according to court records. His next court appearance is set for Friday.
