Wash Heights Woman, 80, Reported Missing: Have You Seen Irene?

Nov. 7 update: Hidalgo was found safe and reunited with family at Mt. Sinai Morningside Hospital.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY - An 80-year-old Washington Heights woman has been reported missing over the weekend, authorities said.

Irene C. Hidalgo was last seen near her home on the 500 block of West 171st Street about 1:18 a.m. Sunday, police said.

Hidalgo is described as a woman standing at five feet three inches and weighing about 105 pounds, police said.

She was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a brown hooded sweatshirt, gray shoes and black hat. Additional information was not immediately made available.
