3 Women Attacked While Walking In Inwood Hill Park: Police
Three women were attacked in less than an hour Wednesday morning in Inwood Hill Park, according to police.
INWOOD, NY — Three women were attacked Wednesday morning while walking in Inwood Hill Park, according to police.
Here's a breakdown of the three attacks that all happened in the Upper Manhattan park from 11:21 to 11:57 a.m.
11:21 a.m. — A 34-year-old woman told NYPD that she was walking inside the park when she was approached by a man who made sexual remarks, punched her, and stole $1,800 worth of electronics that she had, according to police.

The attacker fled and the woman refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
11:43 a.m. — A 40-year-old woman told NYPD that she was walking in the park when she was approached by a man who made sexual remarks and began following her through the park, according to police. The woman however flagged down a passing jogger and the man following her fled, according to multiple reports.

11:57 a.m. — A 44-year-old woman told NYPD that she was walking in the park when she was unexpectedly hit by an unknown object, causing her to slam her head against the ground, police said. According to multiple reports, that object was a tree branch and she was knocked unconscious.
Police sources told CBS that investigators believe the woman was robbed and sexually assaulted when she was unconscious.
She was taken to a hospital in stable condition, according to police.
Police are still searching for an attacker who was last seen around noon Wednesday walking deeper into Inwood Hill Park, NYPD said. Police told Patch that the man is 5 feet 10 inches and was wearing tan khaki shorts.
Officers are also trying to determine if the same man is responsible for all three attacks.
