Woman Grabbed By The Neck And Robbed In Inwood, Police Say
The perpetrator is still on the loose, police say.

INWOOD, NY — Police were searching Tuesday for a suspect who grabbed a woman by the neck and robbed her in broad daylight on an Inwood sidewalk, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the unknown man grabbed the 25-year-old victim by the neck and placed an unknown object to her stomach in front of 1825 Riverside Dr., which is between Payson Avenue and Seaman Avenue, back on July 10 at 2:20 p.m.
After the perpetrator grabbed the victim, he forcibly removed the victim's necklace and iPhone before running away, heading east on Riverside Drive, police said.

Police said the investigation is ongoing, and the perpetrator is still on the loose. Police said the suspect is between 18 and 25 years old and was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and black slippers.
