Woman Robbed At Gunpoint On Washington Heights Train: Police

The robbery happened as a 1 train approached the Dyckman Street station about 7:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.

UPPER MANHATTAN, NY — A woman was robbed at gunpoint while riding the train in Upper Manhattan over the weekend, police said Monday.

A 35-year-old woman was riding the 1 train north about 7:30 p.m. on Saturday as it approached the Dyckman Street station, when a man walked up to her and flashed a gun, NYPD said.

He then took her wallet, police added.

The robber fled the Dyckman station in an unknown direction.

There were no injuries reported.
