7-Restaurant Food Tour Now Available In Greenwich Village
A new food tour from City Experience includes nine food tastings at seven Greenwich Village restaurants.
GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — Food lovers rejoice. A new seven-restaurant tour in Greenwich Village just became available for the neighborhood famous for its eateries.
City Experience recently launched a three-hour food tour offered by Devour Tours of Greenwich Village restaurants.
"Little Italy may have the name recognition, but many of Manhattan’s Italian immigrants have actually called Greenwich Village home over the years," reads a blurb for the tour. "Discover the Italian history and culture that has shaped this storied area while tasting some of the best and most authentic Italian food New York City has to offer."

Here is what's included:
- Nine food tastings at seven family-run Greenwich Village eateries.
- Chat about pasta with the owner of a neighborhood pasta shop and check out the machine the family has used for decades.
- Discover Greenwich Village Italian heritage sites, including the church with the first Italian congregation in the United States.
- Learn how to make Italian coffee and sample espresso.
- Enjoy a slice of New York pizza from one of the Village's most loved pizzerias.
- Learn about what makes gelato different from ice cream.
The tour is adaptable for vegetarians and pregnant women, but you'll want to note any food allergy or dietary requirement you have in the booking.

Washington Square Park is the meeting point for the tour and the endpoint is Venchi Chocolate on Bleecker Street.
The preview of the tour does not specify any of the other restaurants that will be included, meaning you have to sign up to find out.
Tickets are $85 for adults and $75 for kids aged two to 14.
