'Alice In Wonderland' Immersive Experience Coming To Greenwich Village
"For one day only, the streets of Greenwich Village, NYC will be transforming into a giant, escape-room-style experience," organizers say.
GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — An immersive experience coming to Greenwich Village will give you the chance to walk with Alice, talk with the Mad Hatter, smile at the Cheshire Cat, and avoid the Queen of Hearts.
The "Alice in Wonderland" experience from Clued Upp Games is coming to Lower Manhattan on Oct. 29, with tickets just becoming available.
"For one day only, the streets of Greenwich Village, NYC will be transforming into a giant, escape-room-style experience," reads a description for the event.

The secret starting location won't be revealed until two weeks prior to the event. The starting times are flexible, but generally, groups can begin any time between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the day.
The day involves solving clues, completing challenges, and racing against other teams.

At the end of the day, prizes can be won for the following categories:
- Fastest Team
- Best Fancy Dress (Alice in Wonderland inspired)
- Best Team Picture
- Best Team Name
- Best Mini Player (Under 16's Prize)
- Pawesome Pooch (Best Dog Photo)
A ticket costs $80, but admits six people — you need a minimum of two people to play. Children also play for free and are not counted within team numbers.
The entire event is held outside.
