All-Hands Fire Breaks Out In The West Village: FDNY

A basement fire ignited Monday morning at 114 Perry St. in the West Village, an FDNY spokesperson told Patch.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — A fire broke out Monday morning in the West Village, an FDNY spokesperson told Patch.

The flames ignited within the basement of 114 Perry St. about 11:38 a.m., the FDNY said.

Firefighters got the blaze under control by 12:14 p.m., FDNY said. There were no injuries, the FDNY added.

The four-story building is home to Citi Habitats, which is a real estate consultant firm that is owned by the Corcoran Group.

Citi Habitats did not immediately answer a call from Patch.

The 114 Perry St. address is also part of the Greenwich Village Historic District.
